Academic Curriculum
Major subjects Educational Programs Expert Course
The curriculum of the Faculty of Economics consists of major courses in economics, business administration, accounting, informatics, and law, in addition to basic subjects in liberal arts and general education. The main courses are organized with an interdisciplinary approach into five educational programs that are consistent with the needs of the Japanese economy, and conducive to promising career paths.
The mentoring system is implemented to assist students in the selection of the appropriate educational programs, and in the planning of their learning activities. Advice is provided by mentors with special knowledge and experience in order to allow students to adapt to the new learning environment, attend various courses for freshman and sophomore, and specialized fields of study, as well as small-group seminars, and complete the requirements for graduation in a systematic and consistent manner.
Major subjects
Major subjects are classified into five academic fields: Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Law and Informatics.

Educational Programs
The rich curriculum is structured into five educational programs based on at least two major academic fields of study. The interdisciplinary feature of each educational program is important as it enables students to grasp broader perspectives and deeper knowledge in the related fields of study. The ultimate objective of these multidisciplinary foundations is to equip students with the necessary understanding and ability to interact with the environment and lead a constructive role in society.

Expert Course
The Expert Course constitutes a linkage between the undergraduate programs with the Master’s program at the Graduate School of Economics. The integrated course allows excellent students to pursue systematic studies at undergraduate programs that facilitate, under conditions related to academic performance, a smooth transition to the graduate program.
